Information we collect

Insatiable collects the information needed to provide accounts, create and save interactive stories, and manage paid access.

• Account information: your email address, account identifier, authentication status, and password-reset activity.
• Story content: story ideas, characters, settings, tone and style selections, choices, generated chapters, titles, and continuity information.
• Usage information: chapter-generation counts, plan status, and basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
• Purchase information: product, subscription, entitlement, renewal, refund, and transaction status. Apple processes payment details; Insatiable does not receive your full card details.

How we use information

• Authenticate your account and keep your stories available across supported devices.
• Generate, continue, save, rename, and delete interactive stories at your request.
• Apply free-plan limits and provide purchased Premium features.
• Maintain security, diagnose failures, prevent misuse, and improve reliability.
• Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate Insatiable, including Supabase for authentication and cloud data storage, OpenAI for story generation, RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management, and Apple for App Store purchases. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments and only as needed to provide their services.

Sharing and advertising

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Storage and retention

Account and story information may be stored locally on your device and in cloud systems. We retain it while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Story deletion removes the selected story from the app’s active storage, subject to limited backup retention.

Your choices and rights

You can delete individual stories in the app. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account and personal information by emailing us. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple account settings. Rights may vary by location.

Children

Insatiable is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, with protections required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Insatiable evolves. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.
